Language education and testing: educational and methodological support
Regional component in the content of teaching Russian as a foreign language based on the material of the Tyumen region
Abstract
The stidy examines the content of the concept of “regional component” in the practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL). The connection of the “regional component” in the content of education with the linguistic and cultural adaptation of students is substantiated. A methodological model of the content of the regional component has been developed. This model includes linguistic, cultural-historical, natural-climatic, educational, professional, everyday (existential) and supra-regional levels. The study describes methodological materials on the development of the regional component of the Tyumen region, created in accordance with this model. The results of trial training and a survey of students of the preparatory faculty are presented. Based on the analysis of methodological literature and data obtained during the experiment, recommendations are given on the use of the regional component in lessons of Russian as a foreign language to a non-regional audience.

Application of Chinese AI tools in teaching Russian as a foreign language to Chinese learners
Abstract
This study investigates the application of Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) tools in teaching Russian as a foreign language to Chinese learners. The study focuses on three representative AI platforms - ERNIE Bot, Kimi, and Doubao - which are among the most widely used in China. Each tool's technical capabilities, practical applications, and current limitations are examined in detail. A multilevel instructional model is proposed, demonstrating how different AI tools can be effectively employed at various stages of language acquisition: ERNIE Bot for writing and translation, Kimi for reading and research purposes, and Doubao for personalized grammar and vocabulary learning. The study is based on a comparative analysis of tool functionality and pedagogical relevance, supported by the framework of blended learning and adaptive education theories. The findings show that these tools not only enhance language skills such as writing, grammar, and translation but also contribute to learner motivation through instant feedback and individual learning paths. Furthermore, the article outlines future prospects, including the integration of AI tools into a unified platform, the development of specialized Russian-language content, and the implementation of multimodal interactions to support oral communication. The research highlights the potential of AI-supported approaches to personalize and modernize language instruction, particularly in non-native Russian-speaking environments.

Ethnocultural parallels in Udmurt poetry on the material of translations of Larisa Orekhova’s poem
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the challenges of translating poetic texts from Udmurt to Russian and English that reflect the ethnocultural characteristics of the Udmurt people. The author focuses on the poem “Feeling of One's Place in Time” by Larissa Orekhova from the collection of verses called “The boundless woods”, with particular attention to the translation of ethnocultural terminology, mythological imagery, and poetic forms. Methodologically, the research is based on a comparative analysis of the original text in Udmurt, the author’s word-for-word translation into Russian, and its English rendition by Tatjana Repina. Key issues in translating Udmurt poetry are being identified, including the rendering of polysemous words, preserving the rhythm and melodiousness of the text, and accurately reflecting ethnocultural nationally biased lexical units. The author emphasizes the importance of considering the specific features of the Udmurt language such as the iterative verb forms, which is paramount in achieving the highest possible adequacy of resulting translation. It has been conclusively shown that translating poetry requires not only linguistic precision but also a profound understanding of cultural context, thus opening new avenues for research in the fields of literary translation and ethnolinguistics.

The linguistic personality of a writer in the context of modern national literature: the linguistic poetics of Ildar Abuzyarov
Abstract
The subject of the study is the linguistic personality of Ildar Abuzyarov, revealed in the “Kurban-novel”. The theoretical basis of the analysis is the approach of Yu.N. Karaulov, who interprets the linguistic personality as a complexly organized, hierarchical system. The study is relevant considering modern trends in national literature, demonstrating a complex interaction of cultural codes and individual authorial intentions. The work “Kurban-novel” was chosen as the research material, which is studied from the position of the interaction of national and individual linguistic features of the author. The analysis is carried out at three levels: verbal-semantic — with an emphasis on vocabulary, artistic means; cognitive — with the identification of key concepts that form the author's model of the world; pragmatic — with consideration of the communicative strategies and intentions of the writer. Attention is paid to the lexical-semantic, stylistic and cognitive aspects of the text, representative language components that help Ildar Abuzyarov express ethnocultural features and convey deep semantic layers that reflect his creative individuality. The author analyzes what elements form the idiostyle and conceptual world of the writer. As a result, the main means of expression, a rich spectrum of lexical units of different thematic groups, concepts, and the desire for universalization, which helps the reader focus on universal human experiences and dilemmas, are identified.

Our goal is to identify the impact of foreign language tests on the achievement of educational and professional goals of Vietnamese citizens. The research methodology included the analysis of statistical data on foreign language tests, as well as the perception of the importance of such tests for their educational and career prospects. The results of foreign language tests are of great importance and serve as a key tool for achieving the educational and professional goals of Vietnamese citizens. During the research, we focused on analyzing aspects of the Test of Russian as a Foreign Language (TRFL), which turn out to be especially difficult for Vietnamese when passing it at different levels. The findings of this study highlight the importance of the testing system for assessing the language competencies of Vietnamese citizens in a global context, and recommendations will be put forward to solve the identified problems, which helps to improve the preparation of Vietnamese students for passing the TRFL.
